We moved from the city to the quiet of Cowra NSW in 2018 and have not looked back.
We run a small hobby farm breeding Merino’s and Dorpers (for meat).
I have been asked many times what does DCs Madra means. DCs Madra is the working breeding line of my dogs. Let’s face it we brought the property and the sheep for the dogs. The DCs in the name is my initial’s and Madra is Irish Gaelic for dog. I wanted to keep the Scot’s history of the breed and my own Scot’s and Irish family history in the name. Hence Donna Campbells Dog XXXXXX. Do we breed often I get asked. Answer No. These dogs are purpose breed, not breed for the $ or the fun of it. I will breed again when I am ready to start to train another dog Or if someone want’s to use the genetics that we have.
If you would like an experience with one of the dogs let us know before hand. They are more than happy to spend an hour showing what they can do.
We have set-up a neat bedsit to share our life style with others. If you want to unwind with out totally unplugging this is the spot for you. If you want to unplug you can do that also.
There is a multitude of wild life to see on and around the area. See our gallery.
Dogs are welcome with some conditions.
If you would like to see the dogs work we charge $40 for an hours demonstration. You may also want to try your hand at working with one of the dogs. Ask when booking.

Thanks Donna. Enjoyable weekend that covered lots of information. Has given me some things to work on with the dogs, here’s hoping that I get it right!! Hopefully this spring I’ll get the time to get back in the swing of things and get out on the trial grounds again.
Big shoutout to Donna Lindley and Owen for hosting yet another awesome seminar and to Bill Davidson for his instruction and insightful advice on how to improve our dogs’ skills and what to focus on in each dog. Great to see & meet all the teams at the seminar. Here’s to all of us successfully tackling our list of “to-dos
Thank you, Donna and Owen, of the invitation to attend the Bill Davidson school. Bill provided the ingredients to use in preparing a dog for trialing, and a very helpful insight into evaluating our and the dogs performance along the way. The weekend was very enjoyable. I learned heaps of good stuff. Now to put it all together!
